Digital Stores is a subsidiary division of Universal Music Group, managing audio products and official merchandise for well-known recording artists, as well as around 40 ecommerce stores including official websites for Blur, The Beatles, Kylie Minogue, One Direction and Marmite.
Our partnership with Digital Stores spans international order fulfilment, bespoke packaging, reverse logistics and a bespoke client helpdesk. Our objective is to support our client with streamlined solutions across all of these areas, to maximise their efficiency and profitability at every turn.
The huge variety of merchandise sold by Digital Stores, coupled with the fact that it is ordered from multiple sales channels, makes it all the more essential that we customise our fulfilment services accordingly. Using our purpose-built warehouse management system and adapting it to flex with the needs of our client, we are able to fulfil both standard and special orders – including pre-release merchandise such as autographed sleeves and posters – to a high standard and with a limited turnaround time.
Digital Stores also call upon our packaging expertise for everything from standard items to collectables, such as signed lithographs and limited edition box sets. With our sustainable and cost-efficient approach, we regularly source packaging that allows Digital Stores to create a memorable first impression, while reducing the impact on their budgets and the environment. Our strategic partnerships with the major UK and International carriers allow us to pass on further cost reductions, by securing the best possible courier rates for our client’s ever-changing product requirements.
With such a complex ecommerce model, there is inevitably a need for a robust reverse logistics process. To that end we assist Digital Stores in managing their product returns more efficiently, holding any returned stock in quarantine and distributing as required – even returning products directly to their suppliers. We also offer our support to their busy in-house customer service team through the provision of a dedicated client helpdesk, with staff fully trained to handle and resolve emails and phone calls.
